Raleigh, N.C., September 2, 2022 – McKeeman Communications is proud to announce three new faces joining its boutique, integrated public relations agency: Mykayla Capeles, Zoe Traynor, and Jocelyn Clendening. McKeeman is based in Raleigh, N.C., serving food, beverage, nonprofit and other various clients across the Southeast.

Capeles and Traynor will serve as the firm’s newest account coordinators, supporting McKeeman clients through communication campaign strategy, client relations, social media management and initiatives, influencer management, and media relations efforts.
Jocelyn Clendening is stepping into the role of media relations manager. She’ll work closely with account teams to develop media relations campaigns and identify proactive storytelling opportunities, ultimately increasing visibility for McKeeman clients.
Capeles is a recent graduate from The University of South Carolina, where she earned a degree in Public Relations and minored in Event Management. She completed five impressive internships, allowing her to gain valuable experience in many areas of communications including marketing, social media management, public relations, and event management.
Born and raised in Phoenix, Traynor graduated from Arizona State University with a major in Business Communications and a minor in Fashion. Completing three internships in public relations and marketing, she also served as a leader in numerous university organizations. Her background is rooted in social media, B2C and B2B marketing, community relations, and event management.
Jocelyn is an experienced media relations professional with three years representing and securing coverage for lifestyle PR clients. California-born and Texas-raised, she graduated cum laude from Elon University with a B.A. in Strategic Communications and a minor in Women’s & Gender Studies. Jocelyn’s PR specialty is rooted in relationship building and strategic storytelling tied to industry trends, resulting in online, print, and national/local TV placements.
