Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille - Media Relations
In August 2020, McKeeman became the PR partner to announce Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille’s first location in North Carolina and build brand awareness and loyalty in the Triangle. This was done through local media outreach and local VIP events and partnerships to showcase what makes Perry’s unique. McKeeman introduced Perry’s to local community leaders as well as traditional and social media influencers. We made these introductions through 15 “chop drops”, which involved mailing Perry’s Famous Pork Chop to the individuals, so they could prepare the menu item and enjoy at their home. We also hosted socially distanced, in-restaurant VIP meals and tours for 100 guests.
Exceeding Perry’s’ expectations, the media relations coverage targets were met, garnering 22 hits related to the grand opening specifically and 10 hits that reintroduced the brand post-opening. In total, the brand received an estimated 15,692,753 total views in the Triangle area in just five months. Because of this success, McKeeman was asked to continue the partnership and support another Perry’s grand opening in Nashville, TN.
