August 10, 2018 – McKeeman Communications, a Raleigh-based public relations agency with another office in Nashville, T.N., is excited to announce three new diverse client partnerships. The new partnerships include two clients from the food and beverage industry, Hissho Sushi and Showmars, as well as Drybar, a popular chain of blowout salons building momentum across the country.
This summer, McKeeman helped Drybar open its 100th location in the Specialty Shops at SouthPark. McKeeman worked with the Drybar national marketing team and the local owner/operator to establish the company as the premiere salon that all women of Charlotte can turn to for a blowout.
McKeeman Communications has also been named PR agency of record for Hissho Sushi, headquartered in the Queen City. Hissho Sushi provides sushi bars to more than 1,000 upscale supermarkets, hospitals, higher education facilities and corporate foodservice locations nationwide. From making fresh to-order rolls at the sushi bars to training and providing experienced sushi chefs, Hissho is dedicated to ensuring superior quality and making premium sushi more convenient – where people live, work and play.
Showmars opened its first restaurant in 1983 in Charlotte, and since then the southern and Greek menu has evolved into an iconic favorite with 30 locations across the Queen City, western Carolina and even South Carolina. Showmars’ team turned to McKeeman this summer to expand its footprint across North Carolina, and for the first time, into the Triangle area. McKeeman helped introduce Showmars to the community of Wake Forest and celebrate its grand opening in August.
“We are delighted with the opportunities to work with and learn from these three diverse clients who have such strong ties to Charlotte,” said Kim McKeeman, founder and CEO of McKeeman Communications. “They each have such unique and compelling stories to tell. We’re honored they’ve chosen our McKeeman team to partner with them in connecting with customers and their communities.”
